Adopt a Grade/Staff

This program is designed to encourage and support our teachers and staff.  With today’s challenges, lack of parental support, lack of funds, and lack of discipline and character, our teachers and school staff are facing increased pressure and frustration.  We as a community need to have a structured and purposeful way to lift up and encourage our teachers and staff.  This program is simple:

• We find a civic organization, church, business or individual that wants to adopt a grade or staff member(s).
• We hand out a survey to each teacher or staff member.  This survey helps us understand how we can help and encourage them.
• We take the survey and establish ten things we can do to help and encourage them for that year.  This translates into one thing being done for the teachers and staff per month.
• We also see the need to encourage and support our transportation workers (bus drivers) and administration.  We encourage the adoption of these folks as well.
• We will work with community and technical colleges in areas where they exist.
• The Adopt-a-Grade/Staff program has been very successful and well worth the time and effort put into it. The teachers work hard for their students and we are blessed to be able to give back in whatever way we can to make their jobs easier.

We do, however, need your help.  Adopt-a-Grade/Staff survives and thrives from the generous monetary gifts, donations of much needed resources and supplies for our teachers and staff, and ESPECIALLY your time.  All of these gifts are incredibly appreciated.
